Quince Combo started long before we knew what to call ourselves or that we even had a name. We were living in Mexico and our niece Abi was turning 15. I had never choreographed a quinceanera before but with a BA in Dance from UCLA and a specialization in performance and choreography, I was more than qualified to do so. I had also taught dance professionally for over ten years at that point. With my formal training and Octavio’s experience being in countless quince courts, we were the perfect match and definitely up for the challenge.

Fast forward to 2019. We are back in San Francisco and still dancing! We have worked with family, friends, and referrals who have become like family! We are thankful that people seem to respond to and appreciate the work that we do. Our goal is to provide excellent service to the Quinceanera and her family so that they can feel just a little bit less stressed going into this major life event. We want her to feel confident and proud of what she has worked on and of course put on a beautiful and fun show for her guests. And we want to entertain them! The icing on the cake is that the Quincenera and her court walk away having learned some dances that they can enjoy for the rest of their lives.
